This makes sense to me. When I read through the CC&Rs, I thought, "Okay, I get why gays and Mexicans can't live here, but what the heck is wrong with having a small satellite dish on my patio?"

Now the big question: do I simply install the dish or do I make a big scene at the next HOA meeting, channeling my inner Kevin Bacon at the lectern? I can cite Ecclesiastes, which says that there is a time under the sun for everything, including leaping and dancing.

I am in a similar situation at ours. I believe they can limit where you put your dish, which can be a hassle, but they can't stop you from having one. Our HOA is a huge pain, and the way our community is set up, I can't get a good shot to get a decent signal. The only spot where I could put a dish, I would have to drill a messy hole through the front of our house to get a cable in, and I don't particularly want to do that. So for me, I'm stuck with Digital Cable (which is really Dish Network on a cable system), so until Dish gets it, I'm essentially screwed.

Sizzle, I'm thinking of going back to DTV again and just having them install one box straight off my patio. I'll keep crappy Ygnition for the house, since I can't wire the rest of the house. If I can make that happen, you're always welcome to come over.

LOL. I thought bad times were the reason we fled from ESPN. Can you imagine a game starting at 10am Eastern in Provo?

What time did the New Mexico game start a few years ago? Seems like it was around 9 a.m. and yes, it sucked.

Sweet! it will be just like going to little league games. The good news for cougarfans is that ute fans are too lazy to get up to get drunk tailgating before the game. They will of course just use the buzz from the night before

In all seriousness if Utah and byu play where one is undefeated and the the other is also in the top 25 my bet is CBS picks up that game.
