I do think it is out of bounds to post stuff of the tone that you posted. The guy is asking you for help, I would assume because you, in some way, represented that you were willing to offer the help, and now you use that to embarass him? To me, that is just stupid.

I know a bunch of Daves. I do not know Rocky personally. Never met him.

You are free to disagree. My guess is that you will find very few, on either board, who will agree with it, though.

I know lots of Daves, me included. Yes it's true, my name is Dave and a lot of posters on here already know that.

However there's only one Gerdy who's a dickhead and has worked hard at getting the reactions he's sought out.

I have to say, I'm really enjoying the direction this thread has taken....

that said, despite my feelings that pretty much anything goes on these internet chat boards, posting another's private information is definitely not okay. wow.
