I ran with the newest Brooks out of the box
they are comfortable. Trance 7s. Very nice support and they have me running neutral.
http://www.brooksrunning.com/corpora..._7_24_07.phtml Best part, they're not Nike and they're great. Down with the Evil Empire, up with good shoes.

I like Brooks. I get Glycerins, which I personally think is a terrible brand name.
One new pair every 6 months. |

I bought the Brooks Trance 6 running shoes about 4 months ago. Best shoes that I have ever run in. I may have to try the 7 series.

Brooks does make good shoes. Adrenalines were actually the first pair of running shoes I ever bought. Ran my first marathon in them, but I haven't owned a pair since.
Speaking of Brooks, the Brooks-Hanson distance project is doing some good things from what I read. |
