I don't think there are enough people like you to make up the other group.

I think we do a pretty good job of watering it down for the masses; though admittedly Pelagius has a better technical grasp of statistics as a whole. I specialized a little too much to keep up with him.
So your stat talk is dumbed down? I'd hate to hear nondummy speech. What SEIQ speaks is plain, vernacular English compared to what you guys discuss. And I readily admit he has a good command of a wide variety of philosophical aspects and arenas. My knowledge if I ever had any has long been diluted through the passage of time. Reading his thoughts always makes me go, "yeah, I remember when Professor such and such was discussing that, is that what he meant?" I would have loved to have a professor such as SEIQ who could so clearly delineate rather complex principles. He's able to make it clear for us who didn't always see it clearly in class.

The first time I read Hawking's lay person's book, I better understood some of the broad framework of physics which I'd heard for a decade or so. It's nice when these guys can make it simple for the rest of us.

Indy, I think your stats are pretty amateurish and watered down, if that makes you feel better.

I know. That is why I think if they adopt this policy, some people might backslide and then I will have more people like me.

I'll join your group, it sounds like a lot of fun. No leadership positions, forgiveness for sins, and a little party here and there. What's so bad about that?

Yea, plus the great thing about it is the orthodox folks can get back to worrying about their own salvation instead of yours. We all win.
