P.S. I don't own any Abba music.
I always knew Abba was mullah music. What other groups do you like so we can compile a mullah list?

I didn't say I liked Abba, I just like them more than Ace of Base. I'm listening to Metallica right now, is that mullah-ish enough for you?

As a sidenote, if you brought up the comparison between Abba and Ace of Base to a typical Swede, he would look at you like you had lost your mind to even make that comparison. There is ABBA (in terms of international exposure), then drop down many many levels and you get the rest of the bands: Ace of Base, the Cardigans, Roxette, the Hives among others.

Metallica is definitely mullah music, especially after Lars took on Napster.

Actually, from the lyrics you'll note I saw the sign both before and after I opened up my eyes. I think I also opened up my mind too, but I'm a little fuzzy on that part.

I'd also like to sincerely thank Y for getting this restuck in my head. As if I didn't hear enough of it my junior year of high school.

Leave us not forget two of the other greatest Swedish bands: The Hives and The Cardigans. The Hives are genuinely awesome and the Cardigans had some excellent hits.

As for the Ace of Base v. ABBA...lets not kid ourselves Ace of Base was a novelty act (and just about the only genuine pop music widely available in the throes of the grunge era), but ABBA stands with the titans of kitsch, the Bee Gees, etc. This is really a Ryan Leaf-Peyton Manning comparison.
