Default vs Utah

That was the most fun I've had watching a BYU game in some time.

1. the 10pm CST start time is awful. I was too tired to watch the game til finish. I watched it on fast-forward when I woke up.

2. Guys were moving the ball, hitting 3s. Keeping up the defensive pressure.

3. Utah did not look good. Weber State looked better than Utah. I'd be hard pressed to say who the best player on their team is right now.

4. Dastrup was getting torched at times on defense in the first half. On the other hand, his hitting those 3s in the 2nd half on the defensive end made a big difference. He's always going to be a poor defender. His feet are always in quicksand.

5. Elijah Bryant was nails. He and Yoeli are very obviously the best players on the team.

6. Hardnett had a good game.

Dastrup played well tonight against Idaho State hitting two threes and playing at times some good Defense. He can contribute, far more than Luke.

The team plays smart and will be more fun to watch than last year's team.

I don't know. It's going to depend on his defense.

It's not hard to guard bigs from the Idaho Technical College for the Blind.

The Idaho State big man is a 7 footer who played well before he fatigued. Dastrup will contribute and he has a shooter's touch. He also spotted EB on a great pass out play.
