Do either of you have Ipod cadence music to increase your footstrikes per minute? Or anybody else.

For some reason at the end of a triathlon, I have not been able to make an adequate transition and lose too much speed, and my recent diagnosis makes me believe it's a mental loss of focus on the footstrikes per minute, i.e., I believe I'm putting out more effort than I actually am.

In 70.3, one tries to lose only about ten minutes or less from one's best half marathon time, but I tend to lose 20 to 30 minutes which is unacceptable.

I can still hear my old track coach's wife screaming at me.

She had some pipes.

I don't. I just have a bunch of music that I put on random. And usually by the end of a marathon, I'm kind of getting sick of it so I pull the headphones off.

Yep, me too. Just a bunch of stuff that I like. Eventually I get aggravated and turn it off.
