Default Farrah and I are awesome

Farrah and I ran a 5 mile race together last Saturday. I just checked the results online. I'd say we did quite well for two tired moms who haven't been doing much running lately. (OK, at least I am an over-tired mom who hasn't been running at all.) I came in 7th in my age group. Farrah came in 8th in her age group. We certainly didn't win a medal, but hey, we were faster than close to 85% of those running and since most of Dallas was sleeping in or at the drive-thru waiting on their McMuffin sandwich at that time on Saturday, I'd say we are faster than at least 97% of the people in all of DFW.

And we owe it all to Title IX.

Seriously, Marsupial was awesome, I got dehydrated and she dropped me somewhere after the 5k mark. I was going to go for a half marathon this fall, but I might put it off until I'm done breastfeeding this baby. It's really hard to hydrate adequately.

What do you mean? You've got an automatic drink station built right in!
