Default Did my first "Brick" workout today

Not on purpose, mind you.

After getting back from a hard 37 mile ride this morning and finding myself locked out of the house and my wife not expected back from the gym for 45 minutes, I found an old pair of running shoes in the garage and threw some shorts over my cycling tights and headed out for a 4 mile run.

I haven't done this kind of workout in about 8 years, the last time I did a triathlon. Legs felt like a bowl of jelly for the first mile, felt pretty good for the next 2 1/2 miles and then were lead weights for the last 1/2 mile. My feet also hurt for the first mile or so as they were thawing from freezing on my ride.

Kind of gives me the bug to try another triathlon next summer.
