not from a functionality standpoint, but at a certain point you become so "legacy" that you can no longer function. The webhosts no longer support your database software, and you can't upgrade anymore to something new.

The sad part is that vbulletin is no longer run by the same people that started the company and built the software. So I'm not sure that continuing with vbulletin is a great idea.

Or we could just not worry about it and pull the plug when the thing doesn't work anymore.
