2008 key: Hill
2007 key: Hall
2008 key: Hill QB: expect to be improved RB: improved OL: improved--only lose one starter pass receivers: improved--we return our top 4 receivers and 7 of top 8, losing Allen is inconsequential DL: improved, with Denney coming on end of year, Jorgensen back, and RT a better option than our three headed DT this year, throw in the guy from Snow for depth LB: only slightly down--plenty of talent waiting in the wings with Doman, Baumann, Hooks, and JC transfers Secondary:?? Jaime Hill's going to have to work wonders with a ragtag, inexperienced bunch. But he's done a heck of a job since taking over last year. Took the same bunch from 2005 that was awful and turned them into studs 2006. Kept plugging in backups after injuries to Gabriel, Tafuna, Criddle, Gooch and didn't much miss a beat. I know some of you guys are high on G, Bradley, etc. but I'm skeptical just yet. But I do have faith in Hill. If Hill comes through with a secondary as good as this year, BCS baby. |

i agree. he just better make sure that the come through in the beginning of the season so the cougs don't lose early games against non-conference teams like they have this year and last year. byu deserved a bcs bid last year, and arguably one this year, but the inability to go winless against non-conference teams knocks pretty much knocks them out of contention.
