Default I can hardly contain my excitement!

Only one more day of waiting...

Then comes the horrible wait for next season.

Yep. After this week, we turn our excitement (at least in my house) to college hoops before we enter the black hole of tv sports called late spring/early summer.

Ughhhhh! Let's not think about it right now. Instead let's bask in the glory of one more football game and the rest of college bball!

We can still look forward to the early February activities, followed by the March/early April camp, after which time, it all pretty much shuts down until August......that is, unless the NHL gets more games on local broadcast stations!

Default I think this will be a good sports year i look forward to 06

After College basketball at the end of March, we will roll in to Baseball, i hate spring training but with the World Baseball Classic being played this year I am excited to watch. By the time that ends in May we will have the NBA playoffs (which i think are entirely to long). From July-August is the dead period, but at least it is only 2 months and not 9 for the fans that only like football.

That's where soccer comes in my friends.

It's a great summer sport to watch. Plus the world cup :-D

Default Soccer

thats another sport I will keep my eye on, I am not a huge soccer fan but I always watch the world cup. My biggest pet peeve though is return missionaries that cheer for the country they served there mission in instead of the US!!!!!!!!! That bothers the hell out of me!!

You should have seen the return missionaries cheering for Costa Rica at the WCQ in SLC. just lame nuts if you ask me.

Go USA!

Go to a MLS game as well. The Football offseason never seemed so short as it did this year.

Default Exactly!!! My wife was born in El Salvador

was adopted when she was 3 and has lived in the US since. Where does her allegiance lye? With the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!

Well at least the lull period is during summer, when most people are busy doing summer things.
