Default I can live with that.

Down by three on the 15 . . . man, it was THAT close.

Oh well. UCLA is obviously a good team, and in spite of a complete brain fart for most of the first half, BYU almost pulled it off. It's not a season ending defeat, and it should be a great learning experience for Max Hall, who was really looking good for a stretch there.

I wish we had pulled it off, but I'll sleep okay tonight.

I'm with you bro.

This loss hurts, but not as bad as some other losses in recent memory.

So many things to be optimistic about with this team. Me likey Max Hall. Me likey Harvey Unga. Me likey Dennis Pitta. Me likey Austin Collie.

I'm pleased too. The game had the same feel as the USC game a few years ago at the Coliseum. We just got down too far too early. Max looks really good. I've never seen a BYU quarterback play so well in their first two starts.

These games piss me off in a bad way. We had a chance to beat a top 15 team in their house, but we piss the opportunity away. Stupid untimely penalties, turnovers, and poor first half execution spelled doom. The Cougs should have won this game.

True enough. I think this game shows why BYU is probably a team that should be ranked somewhere between #23 and #28 instead of #13 and #18.

Totally agree. I don't feel as bad as I thought I would after a loss. This is a good team with a lot of positives--and they have proved it against two Pac 10 teams. We dominated the game in some ways but came up short on a few plays that could have gone either way. We had a nice game that will be a good learning experience for our young players.
