ALOHA BRUDDAS: A couple of weeks ago, BYU and Utah head coaches Mendenhall and Kyle Whittingham found themselves on the same transoceanic flight to Hawaii. When they landed, they shared a shuttle to the same car rental company. While neither will disclose what conversations they may have had for those six or seven hours, Whittingham said the travel is where the similarities start and end. "He was there on vacation and went surfing. I was there to work, doing a football camp for Kahuku High School on the north shore."
