As ward party planner, I attend ward council. Yesterday, there were several gems, but I thought I'd share one particularly interesting one:

The missionaries were going through a list of their investigators and people they are teaching. One couple was brought to them by members. This couple had formerly been active in another church, but they had left years ago because that church "accepted gays." So now they are intersted in our church.
