I agree with the format chages. Not a good thing.

Btw, Mike, in a few posts you have suggested (sometimes indirectly) that CB is in fact a very profitable venture. Do you mean to suggest that it is producing a significant amount of money for its owner adn that he has somehow misled contributing members?

I am saying that cougarboard turns a profit. I know this to be true, because El Jefe has told me so.

Is it profitable enough that he makes a living off of it? No.

Has it been profitable for a long time? According to El Jefe, no it hasn't.

Based on donations alone, cougarboard is profitable. If you include the ad revenue, that is just gravy (and I have no idea how much that is).

If you mean to ask whether the slogan "cougarboard's future is in your hands" is misleading, I guess I'll leave that up to the discriminating reader.

not only has it been flooded with imbeciles, the new side banners really make it uglier than ever.

I stopped by just to see if there was any reason for me to return and found none. I'm glad you started this site, as I actually enjoy visiting the so-called "enemy camp" and chatting with you folks. It's always good to get a differing point of view.

Hopefully, the level-headeness displayed on this site will keep the pinheads from both sides away, and that the few that have ventured over here will either shape up or leave.

It's funny how, over there, as July wears on, you keep getting people complaining about the non-football posts.

Yet, once football starts, the posting seems to degrade significantly.

I'm tired of reading how much Utah and their schedule and their quarterback all suck. Intelligence seems to have fled from the board for the most part. (I am not yet, however, tired of the pirate ship!)

I agree that it is much more difficult to read now. I think that it will go back to the old format soon. I see that the Reply Button was reinstituted. Hopefully those stupid banners down the side will be next to disappear.
