I think some of his mods really are jealous of some folks, and very young and rude; i.e. tim etc.
Why would anyone expend that much energy on an appeal for CB? You do realize they can't tax you, right?

To be honest, I read your initial appeal, and it sucked. All you did was play the victim -- you went on and on about how unfair you felt it was, how El Jefe must have it out for you, etc. You called El Jefe "stupid" and "so ridiculous." Not exactly what I would consider a reasonable appeal worth paying attention to.

And the fact remains that El Jefe suspended you for advertising your business on the site, which he does to everyone who advertises their business on the site. I don't necessarily agree with all of Jefe's rules, but they are what they are (Paging Dennis Green: "They are [what] we that they were."), and you and I and everyone else on the board agreed to them at signup time.

Next time I'd recommend a more reserved and respectful appeal. I would actually encourage you to try it now, even.

Tim
I actually agree with Tim on something.

So how did the rules committee rule on me being banned for the religion category?

Default I actually agree with Tim also.

I sent an appeal of both the allegations, he came up with. Tim, thanks for not calling me "dude". I'm way past that age...

It's still better than being called a crotchety old fart.

Appeal process is where I did some of my best work.

I've decided I'm going to try really hard not to get sucked into any other discussions on CB other than just sports. Somehow the extreme mullah posts suck me in. If you don't think/act/post the same ideas as the general mullah populatuion, you're banned. Free thinking is absolutely forbidden in that place. I'll come here if I want intelligent conversation on non-sports related topics. I'm pissed I didn't learn about CG until recently.
