Default Obama once again displays zero regard for America

http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/04/...ica/index.html

The sight of this guy makes me want to puke.

America won the cold war against communism.

But apparently it can't win the war against itself. We've elected a spineless puppet who is trying to destroy America's soul.

It's not 1994 anymore. We are not going down without a fight.

And Waters makes the leap from wanting assault weapons banned to hating America. Well played, master of hyperbole. Archaea has taught you well.

What a bullshit argument made by Calderon and Obama.

When I drove up from South Padre Island a few months ago it seemed like there was quite a bit of Border Patrol activity.

They stop every car. There are well-maintained high fences preventing any access to the freeway. And there were jeeps patrolling the frontage roads for about 30 miles before and after the freeway checkpoint. I was impressed, but obviously plenty of people pour across the border anyway. I am definitely in favor of building a monster border fence.

This country put people on the moon 40 years ago and is incapable of building a fence on its border? Ridiculous.

every illegal that crosses is another future democratic voter, and another cheap laborer for big business.

that's why it just goes on and on and on.

Why get serious about the border when we'll just be one big North American Union anyway?

So, it's the fault of the United States that the Mexican drug cartels use assault weapons?

The fence is an absolutely idiotic idea, and the precedent for such a thing is not in its favor. How'd the Great Wall turn out for the Chinese? Or the Berlin Wall for the communists?

A wall is an ugly symbol.

Plus, it cuts a unitary ecosystem in two. Can you imagine building a fence that would cut off all flightless fauna interaction between North and South America? For some animals, it would mean likely extinction; for others catastrophic loss. Animals don't recognize national borders. They recognize habitats and food.

If we build a wall, we deserve to have it come crashing down as we're overrun by the proverbial Mongol herd. Bring it on!

what's the point of the fence while we allow millions of illegals in our public schools and other services?

I do have some sympathy for the illegals. I know a few in fact. I don't blame them for coming or wanting a better life. I just don't think it is sustainable. Moreover, I am not very keen on the politicians who lie about the entire enterprise.
