Default Rose Bowl: USC v Ohio State!

USC looks awful on both sides of the ball. They don't even look like a ranked team.

Cute but no cigar. Big winner here is Utah, which will actually play OrSU, and at home, just as Utah will play BYU, with big psych advantage. USC will go on to win every remaining Pac game and Utes' RPI will skyrocket after they bury Oregon State.

OSU will handle Utah with little problem.

My prediction: Utah beats OSU, but OSU finishes at about .500 on the season.

Steel is correct. Oregon State is not exactly a powerhouse here. They were up for this game, yes, but they also lost to Stanford. They've already got two losses and they've still gotta play the Utes and...um...their Pac-10 schedule?

They played 3 solid quarters against Stanford and blew it late. They were blown out by Penn State, but they blew out Hawaii. Now a win over SC, they either have a huge letdown next week or it springboards them to a good season.

The Pac-10 is so pathetic this year they could win the conference. Penn State is great this year and Hawaii's no pushover. I was telling somebody earlier today that OSU had a ridiculously tough non-conference schedule for a BCS team.

Yeah they had a crazy schedule. Next year they go to UNLV, and play Portland State and Cincinatti at home, I think they learned their lesson this year.
