Here you go, Y. I just found this while looking through my Thai cookbook.

Salmon Cakes
1 can (14 3/4 oz) pink salmon
1/2 cup mashed potatoes or bread crumbs
1/4 finely chopped onion
1/4 cup coarsely chipped cilantro, basil, mint, or dill
1 egg
1 Tbsp red curry paste
1 Tbsp fish sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
3 Tbsp veg oil

Drain salmon well, place in bowl, remove any bones and skin. Add mashed potatoes, onion, cilantro. In a small bowl, stir and mash egg, curry paste, fish sauce, salt, and pepper until smooth. Add salmon mixture and combine everything well. Shape into 6-8 three inch patties, set aside. Heat oil in large skillet over medium high. Add half the patties and cook until golden brown, 3 minutes each side.

Serve with steamed broccoli or salad and jasmine rice, a little Sri Rachaa sauce for heat. Or, put in in a bun or pita pocket with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and roasted chili paste-spiked mayo and chopped green onion.

Put it in your food storage and pray that you never get desperate enough to have to eat it.

Tobias: No, it never does. I mean, these people somehow delude themselves into thinking it might, but...but it might work for us.
