It's pretty obvious why.

Regardless of an UCLA win or loss to USC they were going to invite Oregon or Arizona State. As soon as ASU fired Koetter Oregon was it.

UCLA has been twice in the past five years and the LV Bowl wasn't thrilled with they behaved when they were there.

Plus there is the obligatory Crowton/Mendenhall hype we'll get ad nauseum building to the game, and LiveCoug is right,,,it would've sold out regardless.

It wasn't stupid and it really isn't THAT big of a deal.
