Think of the deeply personal tribulations in your life.

How many of them have you touted as a basis for job qualification?

Also, did you, at any time, mock Clinton's infidelities? Make jokes about it? Laugh about it? That was a personal family matter. It probably wreaked havoc on Chelsea as a little girl. Did you stump against any sort of mockery of the Clinton pecadilloes...in the name of good taste and doing what is right? Doubtful.

Let's all get off our high horses folks. When you play partisan politics, eventually it comes back to bite you in the rear. if we don't think McCain's inability to raise his arms over his head should be mocked, then it shouldn't be lauded, either. It shouldnt play a part in the process at all. Once he plays it for sympathy, it becomes open season.
When it comes to Clinton and his infidelity, I ignored it until he looked into the camera lens and lied to the American people. And there is a huge difference between being tortured by the enemy and thinking the only use for women is to be a sperm receptacle.

I will say that you make a good point about McCain using his POW days for political expediency, but I will never belittle him for it. I just happen to believe that he has earned that much.

Actually, it is a valid point.

He wants to be the most powerful man in the world. There are no sacrosanct topics.

If you don't want his military record scrutinized, then make no mention of it and it won't be a topic of discussion. Pretty simple.

You want a free pass for your candidate. Politics don't work that way.

First, he's not "my" candidate.
Second, whether or not he mentioned it doesn't mean it wouldn't be scrutinized.
Third, scrutinizing it and offering cogent criticism is perfectly valid. That's not what you're doing. You're just being a jerk.

Coming from the poster best known for refusing to directly answer anything on point.

Why are you so sensitive about John McCain all of a sudden? You were much less touchy the morning after the Republican National Convention.

How so? What is the rationale behind that statement?

Perhaps I am in error.

Are you suggesting that his POW status is totally irrelevant to his candidacy?

I've always opposed your general douchebaggery on McCain's POW status.
