I'm getting to know you Tex and I was more right than ever when I pegged you as a Pharisee. You define sin as anything that could get you excommunicated. You're stuck in the law of Moses. You're so stuck on the law you can't see. Sin becomes so large and scary to you that you have to compartmentalize it into only the big things that you don't struggle with. You're the 90 and 9 that "need no repentance".

You still won't tell if someone negates prior repentance if they repeat the same sin. Until you take a stand on that, we have no disagreement. First you said it does negate the prior repentance, now you back down and say you won't take a stand. Since that's the crux of your entire argument, we don't have much to talk about.

K, sorry for making that stuff up about you. It's cool we agree on the issue that there is no reason forgiveness of sin can't be immediate. It's also cool we don't believe that silly concept that repeating a sin repented for doesn't negate a good faith repentance made prior.
