Dang, I just tried to find another one of my favorite scenes and was unable to do so. It is a scene from an argentinian film called Man Facing Southeast. It is set in an insane asylum and it involves the inmates going berserk choreographed to Ode to Joy from Beethoven's Ninth. A great scene, although you'll have to trust me on this.

It is still one of the best movies I have ever seen.

My Favorite movie in my childhood. Hard to pick one clip so I picked a few. Really they are all classic so give them all a try and pick the one you like best.

Bugsy Malone

I have one major problem with SL. It makes Goeth the face of the SS. And he is crazy. I know it must focus on him and his evil at the camp, but he was insane - the SS had him committed. It gives the impression, "well, those Nazi were just crazy." This impression, of course, is not entirely the case. Many of their leaders were sane, educated, rational Western-thinking people; which, to me, are much scarier than crazies.

The only scene in a movie that made my jaw drop was the first Russian roulette scene in the Deer hunter, the hour of character development before the scene probably had a lot to do with that.

Another one of my all-time favorites......one of the greatest scenes in all of film from one of the greatest movies ever made. Even today, 2001 is amazing in how accurate Kubrick's vision of the future was almost 40 years ago.

Man invents Tools.

fast forward to about 5:12, unless you want to see the Monolith scene. But the real beauty begins at about 5:12. How amazing is this movie?

I think the final scene is amazing. One Shot.

The Diddy Mao scene is terrifying, I think. Great call. Find it and post it.

Edit: never mind. Here is the Final Scene. One Shot.

I really like this part when Andy escapes.
