Was that in response to my comment? Or are you amending your comment?

I have no problem if others enjoy Baldwin. He just does absolutely nothing for me.

If you really think Alec Baldwin sucks make sure you miss the funniest show on network television.

btw your sense of humor is nothing like mine. You think Peanuts is funny and that nothing is amusing about Alec Baldwin. To each his own I guess.

I'd put him second. He probably was more important as far as the direction the show took over time. The fact that nearly everyone thinks he was actually a cast member is evidence that his work was very strong. Baldwin was also important though, at times being the only funny thing about SNL during some rough years. When it comes down to who is funnier (leave your politics out of it and search your hear ilPad) we're talking about a purely subjective matter and I personally have to go with Baldwin. I think Martin was also hilarious.

Another all time great host is Walken.

I gave 30 Rock a try when it first aired. I didn't think it was funny.

The funniest show on TV is COPS. Nothing is funnier than watching a junkie try to convince the officer that the bag of crack that was pulled frim his pocket isn't his.

It has nothing to do with politics. I just don't think he is entertaining. I didn't like any of his movies or any of the SNL stuff before I learned of his politics.

BTW, I haven't liked SNL since the Eddie Murphy years.

wow you didn't like:

Will Farrell
Chris Farley
Adam Sandler
Mike Meyers
Dana Carvey
David Spade
Phil Hartman
Chris Rock
Rob Schnider
John Lovitz
Kevin Nealon
Dennis Miller

There are others too but these were off the top of my head. Pre-Eddie Murphy is definitel some of the best stuff, but you are missing some fantastic comedic performances. just imho. Then again, we don't think the same things are funny so maybe it is not too surprising.

There have been some moments with those cast members that were very funny, but when it comes to being consistently funny, nothing comes close to the original cast.

I think those you listed were funnier post-SNL.
