I don't know if some of you realized it, but we almost lost that game.

A game we had no business losing.

That's what was frustrating.

What was your pre-season prediction on wins and losses. Quite frankly any of you who had this team winning 7 or 8 games, even 9 shouldn't be looking for a really good team on the field. My heck, you picked them to lose 3-5 games. You should be happy right now, real happy.

This is called goal inflation. Once your goal is achieved you create another goal, and become unhappy when the new goal is not achieved. It's a tried and true method of maintaining a state of dissatisfaction. You should try it sometime.

They had the ball with what 3 minutes left or whatever, and a TD wins the game for them. In a game that we did/should have dominated.

If TCU had scored a TD and won the game there, would have you said the team that played the best won?

That's where we differ. I never felt like we almost lost. When crunch time came, the D shut them down four straight. It never got to almost lost.

The team could have played a lot better, but how much of that was TCU?

Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith.

"Almost" occurs when TCU gets into the red zone being down by one score.

"Almost" doesn't occur 80 yards away from the end zone.
