With a first year RB and QB 3-4 years separated from any significant action no less.

I'm pretty happy. We are one win away from Conference Champions and the future looks pretty good for the next two years.

Sure, we don't seem to shut the door on teams when we can and we should be 8-1, but I'll take 7-2 right now.

That was my mantra and I am true to the claim, methinks.

Brother Waters lives too close to Fort Worth and as such Gary P.'s pussyitis gets contagious. Stay away from the stockyards!

I agree that Bronco's failure to bring pressure at any time during TCU's scoring drive. It worried me from the get go, as a freshman who is taught to make the first read gets plenty of time. So it goes to reason you mix it up, as BYU did in TCU's last possession.

BYU looked awful last night, no points for style.

We missed you in chat last night, but MW held up your end as well as his own. I bet he's exhausted today.

BYU with the exception of the 2 prevent defenses looked outstanding last night.

You sir, are either being sarcastic, or you don't know football.

They looked awful? Seriously? You are definitely mental. BYU controlled that game from start to finish. Bronco and Anae (perhaps under Bronco's direction) simply got ultra-conservative in the 2nd half to force TCU to make enough plays to win, which they couldn't.

IMO, no one in their right mind could claim that a team that went 13 for 20 on third down and racked up 420 yards offense against a top 15 defense as looking awful.

Looking good means being able to beat down a victim once you have them down. BYU continually let TCU off the canvas to show new life. It just frustrates me that BYU lacks the knockout punch this year. In the bowl game, this may come back to haunt us. In conference it may not, although Utah concerns me greatly.

My son said they looked bad also. He definitely isn't mental. Some people just have higher expectations. They are used to playing teams that suck and expect everyone we play sucks.

I think TCU at this point in the year is a good team. They are the reason we didn't look stylish. Interestingly after the Jazz beat a very good Cleveland team all I heard was the Jazz beat Cleveland while playing poorly.

I would rather play good teams and not look stylish. I would rather run out the clock against good teams and not look stylish.

When you bring in suck teams weak after weak, people are going to start looking for style because quite frankly, winning isn't enough in those cases.

Arch loves having something to complain about. It's always the same ol' whining from him. Not worth worrying about, IMO.

I expect perfection in this lousy conference. When you have a man down on the canvas, you don't let him back up. We also had two turnovers to only one of theirs.

Okay they won. But their inability to put a team out worries me.
