Build a Tourney team

now that Rose has a winning tradition, perhaps he could refocus not on winning the conference, but building a team which could be competitive in the Tourney.

It is a sour taste come March to know you're One and Done, just because the team is not built to succeed in that environment. BYU seems to build upon the idea of being successful over a conference season, not in the increased atmosphere of the Tourney. I'm not saying the two are mutual exclusive, but if I can only have one, I'd prefer the Tourney.

That was awful to watch. I am not sure what they are doing to prepare for the tourney, but clearly they need to do something else.

Part of the issue is the low seeding they get every year, which ensures a very tough first round matchup. UConn, Syracuse, A&M (underrated this year and good last year), etc. That said, they are in a catch-22 where they must win to show they deserve a higher seed.

When Gonzaga became the darling, they did so as a low seed. I don't buy that bullcrap.

We need to be win worthy, and this was painful. But the entire last month was painful, getting off to slow starts. It was awful.

I liken being a college basketball fan to dating, kissing and more.

Being a BYU fan is the guy who dates a girl for so long all she does is kiss him once, with a closed mouth, per day. She feels as if she's put out, and he should pleased as punch.

Now being a Nevada fan is a bit like the guy who does date a lot, but occasionally he will get a hot date and have mind-blowing sex.

Being a Utah fan is similar to being a Nevada fan, but he gets more dates and some mind-blowing sex.

Being a BCS fan means you get to marry the hot girl and occasionally or frequently have hot sex whenever the two desire.
