Default Preview of upcoming season

when I read this article, I have the impression that the season is going to be one of the biggest dumpster fires in recent BYU history.

What article?

They have an extremely easy pre-season and a conference schedule with the exception of Gonzaga and St. Mary's that rivals a junior college basketball schedule.

I just believe they will win so many games against nobodies that fans will over-estimate the team.

sorry, I forgot to link the article. Now I can't remember where it was.

I thought Luke Worthington transferred, and we were never going to see him again. Man, he was....bad. This is going to be a bad team if he gets a lot of playing time. I had the impression that he had no idea what was going on when he was on the court.

For out bigs, it is basically Yoeli and no one else.

Andrus showed a couple of flashes as a freshman. But when I say "flashes" I men decent plays that seemed awesome compared to the horrid play we were getting from the position generally. He looked very physically weak as a freshman. But I had the sense he had a decent basketball mind.

With the bad schedule, with the poor team play, probably mediocre results, with the annoying announcers on BYUTV, I'm not sure I'll be tuning in very much.

I hope that Luke doesn't play, because as you say, he did not show me anything.

I will watch the first few games to see if the new transfers add anything, and if BYU has a decent record, I may watch the Utah, Gonzaga and St. Mary's games. Other than that, there is nothing worth watching.

BYU starts the season on Ken Pomeroy's rankings at #72. They ended it last year at #80.

Is it true that BYU might start the season a man down?

Andrus is the only one I've heard about.

That's how you'd accurately describe football this year.

Basketball won't be this bad.
