Is PETA the worst organization in america?

Seriously some of their principles are good, but do you ever hear about them when there is not controversy? They are the "johnny-come-latelys" of the world, you never read stories about PETA donating money to this or that, its all about protests and picketing. Its amazing that they stay relatively quiet until they can stick their noses in some sort of controversy, it just bothers the hell out of me.

Tell me this if a PETA members kid was dying and there was some sort of field mouse or bird that carried the anecdote that they wouldnt kill that damn thing in a second to save their child.

Your hatred for the ACLU is a bit knee jerk. The ACLU serves an important public purpose even if you disagree with what they do most of the time.

That's why I said..."Good Call" when you mentioned NAMBLA. Obviously NAMBLA is worse than the ACLU,,,,,but the ACLU is still very high up.

It's not kneejerk. However if you feel the inclination to support an organization that supports Molesters & Pedophiles "rights" then by all means....go for it.

Most liberals love the ACLU and that's their prerogative and my opinions and feelings on the ACLU is obviously a very unpopular opinion with liberals. That's fine too.
