Default Question for you Greek and Hebrew readers

What can you tell me about the word "hope"? I especially want to know how often, if ever, the Greek and Hebrew words used to get the English translation of "hope" are the same word as that used to get the English word "faith".

For the verb elpidzo, to hope:

Uses in KJV:

trust 18, hope 10, hope for 2, things hoped for 1, vr hope 1
