Default would you rather see

BYU play in the national championship game and lose or play a token Big East team in another BCS game and clobber them like Utah did in 2004? I think I'd rather have the chance at the championship.

Of course play in the title game and lose.

The Ute win at the Fiesta Bowl.....so what? Congrats, you won a Fiest Bowl game.

Similarly this year, if BYU goes to a BCS bowl and wins....hooray. It is exciting as a change of pace, but ultimately, what does it mean?

How could you not want BYU to play in the national championship game?

The only reason I might not want it, is if it were obvious we weren't even a top 5 team but had somehow lucked our way in. And ended up getting clobbered.

I agree with this.

I have always felt Utah's championship game loss to Kentucky was the greatest achievment in Utah college sports for similar reasons.

if we are undefeated this season, and then undefeated again next season, i will start a revolution if we are not in the BCS championship game.

Don't count on it with USU and another D1AA team on the schedule.

BCS gives us their formula. It's our own fault if we don't follow the rules required to get into a BCS championship game.

BYU has a decent shot of getting there this year if undefeated even with USU and N. Iowa.

no brainer national championship game. If you would rather play in a lesser game you are a pussy. Seriously
