Libertarians should be pleased. I lived in Alaska for five years. It's the most libertarian state in the union. It has an equal rights amendment and a right to privacy written into the Constitution.

Plus he was theoretically chosen by the people, for whatever reasons motivated them to vote. Palin was appointed by one man and his advisors primarily because of her gender, secondarily because of her religious beliefs, and tertiarily because of her ANWR stance.
