but the quotes in your post seemed to be asserting that the world is not getting warmer.

I think the evidence is incontrovertible that the earth has cooled over the last 12 months. Whether that change is anything other than an extreme outlier rather than part of a new climatological trend is uncertain.

Yes.

And while global temperatures increased slightly in June, through the end of May, the nine-month decline in temperatures beginning in September was greater (0.8C) than all the warming of the 20th century (0.6C).
