Bryant is not a point guard. Giac was never willing to put in Eatmon or Drca in at point, so you have a coach that wants Bryant to score and do things...but then you tell him he has to play out of position and give up the ball. Bryant has been given mixed messages all year long.

I know people keep harping on how young this Ute team is...they are, and they were just as young last year. The core players on this team have a year under their belts and they have a worse record with a signicantly easier schedule than last year. There is NO reason that this team should be where it is at currently. Yes, there is a learning curve...this is not that. This is a mess.

I don't see Giac getting another year simply because they will finish under .500 and their attendence will be half of what it was when Giac took over the program. Losing games and losing season ticket holders, especially prominent ones, in the bucket fulls is never good.

It is patently unfair to judge Giac prematurely. He should be allowed to play with his players until they are juniors or seniors. If Utah cans him, no longer will they be justified in laughing at Crowton or Reid.
