What's your point Mike? Obama's the lead writer on his team. It's well-established that he's an excellent writer. His editors have said his books required almost no revision.

I fail to see how it's relevant either way, so why are we belaboring the point?

Obama mentioned this? Interesting. Can you give me a link?

His campaign did.

Quote:
The speech that Governor Palin gave was well delivered, but it was written by George Bush's speechwriter and sounds exactly like the same divisive, partisan attacks we've heard from George Bush for the last eight years. If Governor Palin and John McCain want to define 'change' as voting with George Bush 90% of the time, that's their choice, but we don't think the American people are ready to take a 10% chance on change."

The point was not that Palin relied on a speechwriter, it was which speechwriter she relied on.

Palin and McCain are trying to pretend that Bush doesn't exist. Obama's going to keep reminding them.

Obama is a moron.

"She can't write her own speech. She read a speech written by a man, for a man."

We'll see how this goes over with the non-Uncle Tom women.

*shrug* Ok. I don't see that it matters much which speechwriter she relies on. Some are partisan, but many of them switch hit. If it gives them another reason to say "Bush sucks" then more power to them.

Personally, Bush's approval ratings notwithstanding, I think running against a name not on the ballot is a mistake. I don't think people are going to buy the "McCain = Bush" line in any great measure.
