Default 3rd party question for ultra-conservatives

what are the key differences between the Constitution Party and the Libertarian party?

This would be an excellent question to post over on CB.

Me too.

I am just saying, I am not sure there are any ultra-conservatives here. But I could be wrong.

you're right there are probably a lot of more john birchers over there.

from what i can gather the constitution party is for eagle forumers, they would likely not agree with libertarians on social issues. i'd still like to know more though, the constitution people have a lot of support in utah

The Constitution Party and Libertarian Party have a lot of similar views. The major difference is that the Constitution Party is a Christian Right party. It says in their platform something about how the US is a Christian nation. They don't really believe in separation of church and state. The LP leaves religion up to the individual and doesn't believe government should use law to enforce a particular religious set of values.

This link explains the difference from the Libertarian Party perspective, but I think they're pretty fair in describing the Constitution Party. The Constitution Party website has been bashing the Libertarians pretty hard recently.

This reminds me of a scene from the Life of Brian
