You must carry your weight in your face.

I think that you may be right in that I carry a fair amount of weight in my face. 7 pounds is nothing, but probably a half dozen people have mentioned something the past 2 or 3 weeks. And its not like I wear UnderArmor down to the gym or anything.
We are the same height, but I've got 35 lbs on you. I've been around 215 since college. The problem is that now most of the weight has shifted to my midsection.

I'm thinking now that I no longer need the extra weight (in muscle bulk of course) to block home plate, I could drop 30 lbs and go more for tone than bulk.

Losing the weight is now a serious thing for me.

Not really that much. But 25lb is 25lb.

I think 25lb heavier, I looked normal. Not my angular face probably looks gaunt.

When I weighed 190lb, people were always surprised, because I did not look it.

Your knees will thank you for it.

Have you dusted off the bike lately?

I really need to get back to that. My knees have been bothering me even to ride lately and I've had a few chats with an ortho doc. If things don't get better, I may have to have replacements.

The things we do for an education, eh?

You were 190 pounds? Wow.

Now you're at a fighting weight of 165?

Good for you.

I did 180 miles this week so I hope I'm starting to get some lead out. I need to catch Viking.

Don't worry about keeping up with me. Lotoja goes up and my bike doesn't like the up stuff. I'm trying to lose weight but it's going very slowly.

Back when I was young and fast I got down to 165 lbs (I'm 6' 3"). I went home for a weekend and my Mom asked if I was on drugs. Their must be a fine line between looking like you're in shape and looking like a crack addict.

I beg to differ. Some of the finest climbers in the cycling world are robust, healthy appearing individuals.
