Default Las Vegas and LA Marathons in big trouble

I can't see Devine Racing staying afloat much longer. Their financial issues pretty much started on day one. I ran the '06 Vegas marathon, and it was a total disaster in every sense. From what I hear, last year's wasn't much better.

It is because the events are held on Sunday. If they ran them on Saturday they would have been blessed.

Really it is too bad when these promotional companies can't make it work. I would hate for some of these big events to fail.

Of course most of us have seen their fair share of crappy promotional companies. The ones that took over the St George Tri are a definate negative in my book.

The Xterra races that I have done have been the best I have been associated with.

Most of the stuff I am involved in are put on by charitable groups. Like the Jaycees or other community charities, or in at least once case, by an entire city (Wichita Falls, Tx).

Support is incredible when you have more than a thousand workers/volunteers.
