That's what I use as well. I've wondered, though, if the Nike+ would be a tad bit more accurate if it were in the shoe sole.

Maybe. I tried one of those shoe sleeves, but it was less accurate than it was with just the velcro.

I used to do something similar to Chicken. When it was raining I would just stick it in a plastic baggie and slide it under the shoe laces. Since i got the pouch, it does seem like its a little less accurate, now that you mention it. I'm sure it has nothing to do with me getting slower, does it?

Mine is always wrong in my favor. For instance, I did 5.01 miles today, according to my Garmin. Nike+ says I did 5.13 miles. Not a significant difference of course. It just thinks I'm faster than I really am.
What's really weird is that when I use it on a treadmill, it's always short.

I just let it get wet. Weather has never been a problem.
