Default Excellent list...

and I agree with all of them.

What was The 10 Commandments Rated?

Also, how about these musicals:

South Pacific
The King and I
Oklahoma

It's too bad Hollywood doesn't make more movies like the great ones you listed. My guess is that they'd do very well.

Agree with these too. I would also put West Side Story high on the list. Can't believe I forgot about that one.

That too. But I like the others better. Just my opinion, I realize.

Sound of Music might be the worst movie ever made

Come on. The scene with Mother Superior singing "Climb Every Mountain" is one of the all time greats.

I agree ... you've got to be kidding when you say it is the worst movie ever made -that honor belongs exclusively to Napolean Dynamite!

Seattle you forgot to add:

Father Goose
Arsenic and Old Lace

Arsenic and Old Lace is a terrific movie. One of the funniest I've ever seen.

A few others to add would be:

Yours, Mine and Ours
It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World
most all of the early Disney animated films

It's true that they don't make 'em like they used to. And IMO, that's a shame.

All of your choices have been great.

I also liked Tora Tora Tora, All Quiet on the Western Front, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Most of Alfred Hitchcock movies and a plethora of others I can't remember.
