I thought James Caan was really good in that one. I really enjoyed the movie.

  1. "Backfield in Motion" - classic Roseanne Barr
  2. "Ladybugs" - Rodney Dangerfield!
  3. "Ed" - Joey from Friends and a baseball-playing chimp!
  4. "Over the Top"
  5. "Big and Hairy" - How can you go wrong with a basketball-playing Sasquatch?
  6. Any of the "Bud" movies: "Air Bud," "Air Bud: Golden Receiver," "Air Bud: Seventh Inning Fetch," or "Air Bud: Spikes Back." That dog got talent!

You all should be ashamed of yourselves ... not one of you included 'The Pride of the Yankees'. Seriously, the majority of individuals on this site have the worst taste in movies!

Any body ever see "On any Sunday"? I saw it when I was a kid and thought it was the great. It was a Warren Miller type movie on motorcycles.

Oh man, I loved that movie. But it just put me in agony because I didn't have a dirt bike and I wanted one more than anything in the world. Instead I had to make do with my dad's old tote gote. It seemed that every fifteen minutes of riding required 1-2 hours of mechanical repairs. Turned me into a decent mechanic but it sucked and it was a poor substitute for a dirt bike.

After a few years of patience and saving my money, I finally bought me the first of several dirt bikes and I spent most of my spare time in my teen years riding. I even did a little motocross. My older brother was seriously into motocross and desert racing. Good times.

1. Hoosiers (just thinking about the theme song sends chills down my spine)
2. Miracle ("I'm not looking for the best players, Craig, I'm lookin' for the right ones.")
3. Karate Kid
4. Rocky I
5. Cool Runnings

Just kidding about "Cool Runnings." I'd have to put "Remember the Titans," "Hoop Dreams," and "Rudy" in a tie for 5th place.

** Disclaimer: I've never seen "Caddyshack," which is a shame considering I'm a golf nut. I need to put it into my Netflix queue immediately.

If we're going to mention "The Program" I'll offer a few other classics:

Blue Chips - Where was Nick Nolte's oscar for that one?
Necessary Roughness - Again, just a fantastic film

and finally, Michael Scott's favorite...Varisty Blues. "Go Pack!"

Blue Chips and Necessary Roughness are classics. You Sinbad and Dick Butkus to complement Kathy Ireland and then you have Shaq and Penny Hardaway to complement Nick Nolte. Some amazing actors in those 2 flicks.
