Default Went to Wilco at Red Butte Gardens Last Night

Jeff Tweedy and the guys put on a good show. Really enjoy Glenn Kotche on drums. The opening band, Fleet Foxes, were a up and coming folk band that I found very good. The new stage at RBG is very good and I enjoy the venue.

I went to Jack Johnson last night. Took a friend for her birthday. I'm not much of a fan and Jack Johnson is VERY boring live, but it was for her birthday and she had a good time.

Usana Amphitheater getting in and getting out is a complete nightmare.

Also I couldn't believe how many people they can pack onto the lawn area there.

I saw radiohead at Usana about 5 years ago. It is basically a massive dirt parking lot with a concert stage in the middle of it. Is there a lawn there? I must have missed that.

Usana is stupid.

We went and saw Brian Regan at the Thanksgiving Point amphitheater last week and it was a nightmare, too. Traffic for the Highland/Alpine exit was backed up at least a mile and a half.

I hear they're really down-to-earth. A friend of mine wanted to buy a guitar for her husband, so she e-mailed one of the band members (probably a guitarist) out of the blue and asked for advice. They now correspond fairly regularly and the band member leaves them tickets and backstage passes in Philadelphia every time they play there.

Yes, very big lawn area behind the amphitheater stadium seating and always has been there.

Their music is similar to the soundtrack that plays during the Phoebe Cates nude pool scene.
