Default Mediocre team beating a bad team

Unbelievable we get that bad of a game from JT and Plaisted and that cold from 3 and still get a W on the road.

With Collinsworth coming on, you have more leverage to keep JT in check.

Thank heavens we have Cummard who can score and hit a free throw. Without him we'd be in deep trouble right now. Agree on Collinsworth, he really gained some confidence today.

Who was Utah's #32? He was awful.

I was wishing Collinsworth was in the game at the end of the game. He was really mixing it up with Green. That was nice.

Tyler Kepkay, he seems to have gotten worse as the season goes on..or maybe Bryant and Drca have just taken minutes away from him.

That looked like two fairly disinterested teams playing out there. Who knows what this game means for the rest of the season. It is still fairly early on in the conference schedule, and that is what makes this a good road win for BYU...but the conference has been so unpredictable thus far, there's no way of telling what will happen down the stretch.

BYU will have some key home games in the second half, and that gives them a huge advantage, IMO.

I thought they looked pretty interested. I thought each team played some pretty good defense.

Yeah, I don't know about that...there was certainly some good defense, but there was a lot of bad offense. The decision to run the clock down at the end and start into a move with 5 seconds left wasn't the best, IMO.

BYU did a really good job of taking advantage of lazy defense on Utah's end, and Cummard was pretty clearly the best player on the floor.

Like i said, it's a good road win for the Cougs.

I would think there at the end that BYU's defense had a little to do with that outcome. Or maybe it's Boylen's over-emphasis on the defensive end.

To me this was a gutty win BYU needed after getting blown out at UNLV, especially maintaining composure at the end. BYU wins at Huntsman are rare.

I agree. I lost interest just because the team became a group of pussies. With the effort I witnessed today, they back are in my heart.

Well, they did build and dash expectations. I've been brought back to earth. A conference championship and win in the tourny would be very nice. If Tav suddenly gets hot, all the better.
