Well I turned into a really, really cool guy, with supernatural powers and a wife who can make money disappear just by thinking about it.

Is my wife still in your challenge? I think her Nike+ name is Magalena.

So she has superpowers as well, then? Does she offer workshops? I find it's a lot of effort to make Mr. Gordon's money disappear...Maybe she can provide a few helpful hints.

I weighed in at 212 pounds and I am 5'10"...that was at the start of this year. That was depressing. Since then, I have started eating better and I am running or walking about 3 miles a day and I am now down to 192 pounds. I want to get down to 180 pounds or below and I will be pleased. I don't have the nike + system but I would like to get it soon. For now, I just use my regular ipod video and run late at night.

High school reunions suck. I didn't go to the 10 year or the 20 year and if there is supposed to be a 25 year one this summer, I'll skip it. I already see everyone I care about from high school. If I didn't like someone in high school, I certainly have no interest in seeing them now.

Are you watching stuff as you run? If you aren't running on a treadmill, you may be asking for your ipod to break. There is a harddrive in there with moving parts and they don't like to be bounced around too much. Just a warning.

When I started I was struggling to run a 10 minute mile, so it's progress. I figure with increased muscle strength and a lower weight, I should be able to drop that as well. We'll see how things go, but I hope your legs feel better. I like the challenges better when you're active in them.
I'm glad you like the nike+ thing. I have yet to meet anyone who has been disappointed in it. I've been impressed with your mileage.

BTW, the wife won her second tri, a sprint and finished well in the overalls. The funny thing was her swim and bike exceeded her run performances, even though she's been jogging far longer. However, racing as a runner has not been an emphasis.

Yeah, I don't plan on running with ipod video for long...my wife has the shuffle and I am seriously considering getting the nano to be able to track my progress. We'll see. And thanks for the warning, I think about it every time I take it out running.
