I don't have the same excitement for the Tour this year. I'm still turned off by all the cheating. I'll watch every stage this year, but I don't have the energy to make picks.

I have been really byummed by the whole pro scene but, being forced to think about the race and the stages, and looking at the profiles to see who they might favor etc., has gotten me stoked again (what can I say? I'm like Chralie Brown and the football) . You shoudl try it Steel, the act of picking makes the interest level go up significantly.

I admit, it was a little over the top, but you really shouldn't make fun of your elders like that. I have to sort of imagine the stage in my mind to make a pick, not that they ever go the way I imagine. It's still fun, though.

I wasn't making fun of you creek. I rather liked your description of the stages.
Good start to the tour. Cancellara lit it up today. I really thought Klodens time would hold after seeing some of the big guns fall short before Cancellara. Do we consider Leipheimers performance respectable or a big goose egg? He's going to have to much better in the ITT if he wants a shot at the podium. |

In case nobody noticed, that would be 2 points for the gooseman, none for the others.

Your contest is too confusing and you are showing off.

For two guys that read legal documents all day at work and classic greek at night for fun, you and Archaea sure have poor reading comprehension skills.
And yes, I am showing off. Can you blame me? You saw my football predictions last fall. Predictions ain't exactly my forte. |

Nobody got stage 9 correct, although to be fair I suppose BG was closest. Arch is still trying to figure this whole predcition thing out, as it is very confusing.
Too bad about Arch's boy Michael Rogers, he did look good, but I guess that is the way of the Tour. I would porbabyl pick Valverde over Sastre so far, but the pYrenees will tell the tale for those two.
