Well with that you'd better climb away from Q as if he's standing still.

Excellent choice tkh. From the ground up that is a great bike.

I wonder if you are going to want a rear cassette with an 11 on it in the future. With a triple a 12 is usually fine. With a compact, some guys that like speed opt out for an 11. Either way, enjoy.

I'm planning on being there, but I think my group will actually leave early. They keep telling me to plan on finishing around noon. Considering we're mostly composed of overweight, old men, we're trying to avoid some of the extreme heat.

Thanks guys!

BG, I've wondered that too, but I figure it's going to take me a while to figure that out. This bike is such a huge upgrade over the mountain bike I've been riding, I might actually wear the cassette out before I realize that I want to go even faster.

Are you kidding me? I am president of the overwieght old man bike club. Sounds like a perfect fit, unlike most of my jerseys (have you ever heard lycra scream? It sounds like those mandrake roots from Harry Potter at my house when I get dressed for a ride).
