Looks like Tate might not even accept the invitation to try out for Tampa. Sounds similar to a couple of the tryouts Curtis Brown got last year.

If he doesn't try out...that would certainly hurt his chances at making an NFL roster.

I respect him for trying to do what is best for his family and making the responsible decision, if that is what he decides to do.
