? for rocky or other blue/white observers
Did Gaskins not separate himself as the number 2 qb?
If there is a depth issue it sounds like it is there

Seems to me that Gaskins and McEuen are neck and neck for the back up spot, but if I would venture a guess that on the depth chart Gaskins is the #2,,,but just barely.

Gaskins had a horrible first couple of weeks of spring with opened the door for McEuen. I agree with Rocky that when all is said and done Gaskins will be the number 2 qb. However this also makes me nervous that if we were to call on one of them that we will be screwed.

If either Gaskins or Mcuen are forced in to playing time next year, we are in trouble. They both looked bad and have for much of the spring.
Also Stephen Covey will be back to playing DB by this time next year.

BYU needs to sign a 3 to play 2 JC QB transfer for next year, if at all possible.

Isn't the Utah High School legend and great Riley Nelson coming to BYU off his mission?

I agree, bring in a JC kid to back up Hall next year, and then compete with Lark and Munns who will be fresh off of missions in 2010.

McEuen threw a pick, and it wasn't a smart throw. Gaskins played pretty well, and successfully drove the field for a TD (on a 1-yard FB Dive). I'm likely in the minority here, but I don't think either will be spectacular for us, but should we need them for a few games, they can play well enough for this team to win. I don't fancy playing the likes of TCU, Utah, UCLA or Washington with them at the helm...

That rumor has been floating around for awhile. Is there any truth to it? I know his ties to USU are strong but I could see him not wanting to play for Guy
