2010 looks to be another suck home schedule. I can understand them not wanting an additional BCS team on the schedule while they are breaking in a new QB. However it does make for another suck home schedule.

My guess, based on comments I've heard recently:

2 BCS-league teams from the Big-10 or Big-12.
1 non-BCS team like a Nevada - not one of the likely top non-bcs teams, but a middle-of-the-pack team.

Along with BSU.

yikes in 2012 we play 1 bcs team. I am embarrassed. My embarassment will lessen if we schedule a BCS team in 2009 in 2010 but I won't be holding my breath.

I think our only real hope for having really interesting home schedules in even years is going to be for one of the MWC even-year teams to get really good:

-Wyoming
-UNM
-UNLV
-SDSU

Yeah, I'm not going to hold my breath. UNM is the most likely candidate, and SDSU looks to be doing a few nice things, but we're pretty much stuck with 4 crappy MWC home games every even year.

I'm excited about playing Army. I'm OK with that in lieu of a second BCS team.

Plus, the seven home games is pretty nice

You are not alone but the prospect makes me want to puke. I just can't get excited about adding a shitty opponent even if it is a home game.

I'd love to see Utah State replaced by a BCS team for that year. The lack of quality home opponents isn't going to stop me from enjoying the Army game.

I count UNM as a good team right now?
